Care Instructions

Vessels: We recommend carefully washing all vessels, using a gentle non abrasive cleanser or dish soap. Dishwasher and Microwave use are not recommended given these are handmade, delicate items. Handle with care – Victoria Morris is not liable for broken pieces from mishandling.

Glaze Safety: Liner Glazes in bowls and plates are all food safe – lead free, barium free. Should you purchase a piece with a dry/textural glaze, this is considered decorative and is not recommended for use with ‘wet’ foods. Light colored, matte glazes are prone to staining – be mindful of what you put inside. Beets, Turmeric, highly acidic foods, metal utensils may alter the color of your glazes. Victoria Morris is not liable for changes in the glaze based on customer usage.

Stoneware is a semi-porous substance, as is the nature of clay, so some light condensation on the bottom of the piece can be normal. Victoria Morris is not liable for marks left on surfaces that vessels may leave due to the nature of the medium.

Lamp Care: Use soft cloth to gently wipe the body of the lamp clean. Use care when using a damp cloth in order to avoid damage to the finish on the lamp’s base. Should you require a deeper cleaning, simple green or any clear gentle (non-bleach based, non abrasive) cleanser. Victoria Morris is not liable for damage to your lamp while cleaning.

To clean the finial and hardware, use a soft cloth to wipe the finial and hardware clean. Our brass hardware is unfinished and will therefore develop a patina over time. Use great care if using brass polish in order to avoid damaging the finish of the lamp’s base and ceramic body.

Light Bulbs: Victoria Morris recommends using energy efficient LED Bulbs for our lamp sockets but any standard e26 bulb will work. We recommend a maximum of 60W incandescent per UL guidelines. Tala is our recommended brand.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available in the Greater Los Angeles area. Please be aware that, due to our limited storage capacity, we cannot store items ready for pickup for more than two weeks. Orders must be picked up within two weeks of fulfillment. You will be contacted within 24 hours of your purchase to schedule a pick up time. Feel free to email us at if your pick up is urgent.

Made-to-order items typically take 6-8 weeks to complete. The studio will notify customers when a made-to-order item is ready for pickup. A two week holding period begins thereafter.


Every piece is carefully packed in recyclable packaging. As some pieces are made to order please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery based on inventory. If an item is available to ship with no lead time this will be indicated in the product description.

United States and Canada: We use FedEx or UPS Ground for deliveries within the United States and Canada.

International: For customers outside of the United States, please inquire for a shipping quote.

Please note, your order will be shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) service and you may be required to pay duties and taxes on your purchase when it arrives in the destination country. Our courier will contact you in advance of delivering the goods.

We do not have control over International Duty/Tax charges, and cannot estimate what the cost might be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.


Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery to inform us of any damages or omissions. Should an item be damaged while it is being shipped to you by us, Victoria Morris will provide you with a full replacement, exchange or refund. We may decline to replace, exchange or refund damaged or missing items should you fail to inform us within 48 hours of delivery.

Due to the nature of our process, please note that each piece is unique and variation in size and finish will occur.

Returns of any in stock items may be made within 10 days of receiving a piece purchased directly through Victoria Morris. If you wish to return a piece, it must be undamaged, unused, and clean. When shipping your return, make sure the parcel is securely packaged to avoid any damage in transit. Please email to initiate a return. Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Your refund will be credited to the same card used to make the original purchase. You will receive an automated email once we’ve processed your refund. We are unable to assist with returns of pieces purchased through our stockists. Please contact the stockist directly to inquire about their return policy.

Lampshades in their undamaged, original condition may be returned for a $45 restocking fee. For an exchange, the original cellophane cover must be intact.

Custom Orders

All made to order items are final sale. Orders which have been accepted by Victoria Morris are not subject to cancellation or changes, except with our written approval. Victoria Morris may require as a condition of such approval, reimbursement for any costs incurred in production of the original order or additional costs due to changes since everything is made to order. Deposits for canceled orders will not be returned.

Trade Accounts

Please email to apply for a trade account and review terms. Proof of business as well as resale certificate required. We offer a 10% designer discount on all in stock items. Custom orders do not qualify for any discounts.
